24 Municipalities signed in Tunisia Monday on the Skhirat agreement initiated last Thursday in Morocco in the presence of the UN envoy to Libya, Martin Kobler.

Kobler, reaffirmed in a follow-up press conference that the joining of the municipal councils to the Serraj government is an essential part of the political agreement, pointing that the Skhirat agreement is Libyan-Libyan not a UN one.

“There’s a program ready to deal with the situation in Benghazi so that the road becomes safe for the IDPs to return and to found a fund for compensating the people who had material losses due to the war.” Concluded Kobler.
