The national football team’s managing director, Salem Soula, said that family circumstances caused the absence of Al-Ahly guard and Al-Ahly Tripoli goalkeeper from attending the camp, which has 23 local players.

He clarified that the Camp “Knights of the Mediterranean”, which began last Saturday and will continue for a week, will be undergoing training in two morning and evening periods .

According to the information Office of the Football Federation, the two friendly matches to be played by the team, after which the technical apparatus will choose the basic composition of the team to South Africa match.

The national team is preparing for a playoff against South Africa on March 23 in Tunisia in the final round of the fifth group in the qualifying finals of the African Nations Cup 2019 in Egypt.
