The head of the Presidential Council, Mohamed al-Menfi, said Libya would continue to support initiatives focused on young people and volunteer work.

The meetings were attended by representatives of the Arab Scout Organization and the Maghreb Scouts Union.
During his speech, Menfi said the Libyan state was seeking to expand regional and international cooperation and strengthen partnerships related to human development.
He described people as a key element in national development and said investment in human capacity was important for long-term progress.
Menfi also referred to the role of scouting organisations in encouraging responsibility, community engagement and volunteer work among young people in Libya and across the Arab world.
