Minister of Labour reaffirms government’s social justice efforts

The Minister of Labour and Rehabilitation, Ali Al-Abed

Ali Al-Abed, the Minister of Labour and Rehabilitation, reiterated the government’s commitment to social justice by raising salaries, implementing a unified salary scale, and creating a source of income for jobseekers.

He made the announcement during the Geneva International Labour Conference.

According to Al-Abed, the Supreme Council for Vocational Education and Training is in the process of establishing policies for education and training at all levels and specialisations.
