The Tobruk parliament member, Tariq Al-Jeroushi, confirmed that the minister of finance named in the new formation by the Presidential Council, Muftah Bu Farna, withdrew from the new cabinet as he objected to selecting members that belong to Muslim Brotherhood Group, which according to him was crushed in 2014 elections.

Moreover, the minister nominated for the martyrs families affairs ministry, Muhannad Younis, also walked out of the formation saying that he cannot be a member of a government that includes ex-regime henchmen in it.

Al-Jeroushi himself said that the PC’s new cabinet does not ring a bell for me because it was born out of a foreign trusteeship by the UN and the NU delegate, Martin Kobler, who imposed persons that failed earlier in elections.
