Norway and UNDP boost peace-building efforts in Southern Libya

The Royal Norwegian Embassy and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) have announced further support for peacebuilding initiatives in southern Libya.
This partnership aims to improve the living conditions of vulnerable populations in Al Sharguiya, Bint Baya, and Gurda Ashati, with a particular focus on women and young people.
Norwegian Ambassador H.E. Hilde Klemetsdal expressed strong support for the collaborative effort, emphasising Norway’s commitment to a bottom-up approach to peacebuilding and development in the region.
This initiative highlights the international community’s ongoing dedication to fostering stability and prosperity in Libya.
