Presidential Council, CBL agree on urgent solutions to current cash crisis
The Presidential Council of the UN-backed Government of National Accord, headed by Fayez Al-Serraj, met with the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, Al-Seddiq Al-Kabeer in Tripoli Saturday evening.
The meeting discussed the cash crisis and opening the letters of credit for public, especially those related to the basic goods and medicines as well as protecting the commercial banks and making people trust the Libyan Dinar again, said the CBL spokesman, Issam Al-Oul.
He also said that they agreed to work on going back to producing oil and gas and exporting them, to help provide the citizens with the necessary living needs.
Al-Oul said that the PC and the CBL also agreed to work through the cooperation of all state institutions so that they can reach their target and find out quick solutions for the current crises.
