This act came by the Garabulli local residents in a protest against the misconduct and criminal acts the illegal and illegitimate militias were conducting in their district.

The elders of Garabulli district issued earlier Tuesday a statement saying their protest is not politically oriented but it aims at ending and eradicating the presence of the outlaws from their district, pointing out that the want GNA security forces to be positioned in the district as they recognized the GNA as the sole legitimate government in Libya.
