Several killed in clashes between Sabratha Military Council and IS militants in the heart of the city
The Military Council in Sabratha clashed Tuesday night with IS militants who are barricading in the city center and trying to terrorise civilians, killing more than three militants and wounding others.
However, the Military Council also suffered a loss of more than 4 fighters and 2 injuries amid heavy clashes between the two parties.
Clashes are still ongoing with news about military support coming toward Sabratha from neighboring cities, Al-Zawiya, Surman, and Zuwara.
