State Supreme Council elects Al-Sweihli as President
The State Supreme Council has elected Abdulrahman Al-Sweihli as a President by 53 votes, while the other nominee, Abu Al-Qasim Kzeit has got 26 votes.
85 SSC members attended early on Wednesday the meeting where two members abstained from voting.
On Tuesday, the SSC held its first session in Al-Mahari hotel with 73 members headed by the oldest member, Absulrahman Al-Shater.
