Suspect arrested in connection to Abu Salim Burglary

After a spate of brazen smash-and-grab robberies left Abu Salim area (Tripoli district) retailers and residents on edge last month, Stability Support Apparatus announced Tuesday that they had arrested suspect in connection with the burglary.

A man matching the description (Palestinian National) provided by witnesses fled but was detained after a short foot chase.

Stolen items, as well as tools involved in the burglary, were recovered at the scene.

Stability Support Apparatus is a security institution affiliated with the Presidential Council, it works to consolidate security and stability in Libya.
