Tripoli Appeal Court to pronounce verdict on Sanalla

Mustafa Sanalla, former chairman of Libya’s National Oil Corporation (NOC)

The South Tripoli Appeals Court has reserved the case filed by the outgoing chairman of the National Oil Corporation, Mustafa Sanalla, who was dismissed from his post, to the 17th of this month to pronounce its verdict.

Sanalla filed a lawsuit with the judiciary against the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdel Hamid Dheibiba, and the President of the High Council of State, Khaled Al-Mishri, challenging the decision issued by  Dheibiba to dismiss the board of directors of the NOC headed by Sanalla and appoint a new board of directors headed by Farhat ben Qadara.

This is the second time that the case brought by Sanalla is deferred.

However, the final verdict will be pronounced in the next session of the court.
