The Turkish Foreign Minister, Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, said Tuesday that his country’s firms have resumed work in the Ubari power plant.

In a joint press conference with the Foreign Minister of the UN-backed Government of National Accord Muhammad Sayala, Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu indicated that he discussed with the Head of the Presidential Council, Fayez Al-Serraj, the resumption of almost postponed 304 joint projects between Libya and Turkey after having a review of security preparations taken by the Libyan government.

It is worth mentioning that the total power generation of the Ubari power plant is 90% making an output of 640 megawatts of electricity, which will boost the Libyan electricity network.
