Two Italians, Canadian kidnapped in Ghat

An unidentified group abducted Monday three foreigners from Ghat International Airport in southern Libya and had taken them to an unknown place.
The spokesman of Ghat Municipality, Hassan Othman, said the two Italian nationals were working for Italian Kancos company that is doing msintenence in the airport and one Canadian who was working as an engineer for Libya’s Aviation Company.
“We don’t think the group has terrorist links and we think that they are outlaws.” Othman added.
He stated that the authorities in Ghat are doing their best to free the abducted foreigners.
