Over 1.8 million Libyans registered as potential voters, HNEC says

The High National Elections Commission in Libya (HNEC) has reported that Libyan voters’ number reached over 1.8 million.
According to the HNEC’s daily report on its Facebook page, the newly registered voters until Wednesday were about 400.000 Libyans, with 30.000 voters as an average on a daily basis.
The HNEC announced the start of the registration for voters in early December 2017.
In the meantime, Libyans are hoping that the upcoming election would be the end to the current crisis in the country and that they would bring about solutions to the economic and political issues.
