Discussions to strengthen cooperation and reintroduce Turkish companies to Libya
Libyan Delegation headed by the Prime Minister and the Governor of the CBL held extended talks with their Turkish counterparts in Istanbul today to discuss cooperation in various sectors
Abdelhamid Dabeiba, Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan today, with the participation of Sadiq Al-Kabir, Governor of the Central Bank of Libya.
The two parties addressed bilateral cooperation between the two countries, the return of Turkish businesses to operate in Libya, the simplification of visa processes, and the resolution of outstanding issues.
Following that, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Prime Minister Dabeiba met, with delegations from both nations attending.
The conference concluded in the Vahdettin Palace in Istanbul, and the Turkish team comprised of Treasury and Finance Minister Lütfi Elvan, Trade Minister Mehmet Muş, Central Bank Governor Sahap Kavcioglu, and Erdogan’s Senior Travel Adviser.
