Al-Barghathi meets Paolo Serra in Tripoli to discuss security
The UN-backed GNA’s Defense Minister, Al-Mahdi Al-Barghathi has received in Tripoli Navy Base, Abu Sitta, the UN Councilor of the Special Representative of the UN Secretary General for Security Affairs, Paolo Serra and the Libyan colonel Abdelrahman Al-Taweel, the Chief of the Security Preparations Committee.
The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Head of the Presidential Council, Fathi Al-Mijbri.
The meeting attendees discussed the ways to cooperate on bringing back security and stability to Libya. They also discussed the military situation now in the fight against ISIS near Sirte.
