Libya faces crucial Nations Cup qualifier against Benin

Libya’s national football team takes on Benin at Tripoli International Stadium today in a crucial 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier.
The Mediterranean Knights revived their qualification hopes following a vital away victory in Rwanda, whilst Nigeria’s draw with Benin has further boosted Libya’s chances of reaching the continental showpiece.
A win against Benin, coupled with a Nigerian victory over Rwanda, would secure Libya’s fourth-ever AFCON qualification.
In a bid to rally support, the Libyan Football Federation has announced free entry for supporters at today’s match.
