Libyan Education Minister’s convoy comes under fire

The convoy of the Libyan Education Minister, Othman Abdeljalil, came under fire as protesters in Bani Walid city prevented him and his delegation from entering the city Wednesday morning.

Local media reported that protesters got in the way of the minister’s convoy and forced them to go back to Tripoli before entering Bani Walid.

The Education Minister was supposed to attend a meeting in Bani Walid for education supervisors in the central region.
