The Libyan Brega oil and gas marketing company has closed the office of fuel and gas control committee headed by Milad Al-Hijirsi.

The company announced on Sunday that it had fired Al-Hijirsi and ordered the redirection of the staffers of the committee to other departments of the company.

The fuel and gas committee has been playing a very effective role in cracking down on corruption and smuggling of fuel and gas.
