A drone for the forces under the command of Khalifa Haftar struck Misurata’s air college early on Tuesday, a military source and resident told Reuters.

Reuters reported a Misurata resident as saying that “massive explosions were heard across the city”.

This is the second airstrike on Misurata air college by Haftar’s forces in 10 days.

Meanwhile, a drone airstrike on Monday by Haftar’s forces on the southern Libyan town of Murzuq has killed at least 43 people.

According to reports on social media, the strike on Misurata air college was carried out by a UAE drone.
