Libya releases arrested Ukrainian sailors after months of detention
Ukrainian Foreign Ministry announced Friday rhat four sailors arrested in Libya on counts of oil smuggling were released.
The four Temeteron ship crewmembers were set free on Thursday and teturned home.
The Ukrainian Foteign Ministry said it will double up efforts to secure the release of the rest of the crewmembers from Libya, urging its nationals not to travel to Libya currently.
Temetron was intercepted last June 17 miles off Libyan shores with five Ukrainians, three Russians and one Greek sailor.
The ship is owned by a Greek firm, accordingly to the sources.
