Al Ahli Tripoli push to sign Hussein El Shahat
Egypt’s Hussein El Shahat is nearing a move to the Libyan Premier League ahead of the upcoming season.
The Al Ahly star has received an official offer from Al Ahli Tripoli, coached by Hossam El Badry, with the Libyan club seeking to secure his services following the expiry of his contract with Al Ahly SC.
Al Ahli Tripoli have reportedly submitted a substantial financial offer to persuade El Shahat to join the club, reflecting their strong belief in his technical abilities and experience.
The player is currently close to completing a move to the Libyan league through Al Ahli Tripoli, particularly as he has yet to reach an agreement with Al Ahly over his future.
El Shahat now appears increasingly likely to continue his career in Libya, with negotiations between the player and the Egyptian club yet to produce a deal.
