Benghazi Municipality announced on Sunday the formation of an emergency room in anticipation to possible heavy rain fall and weather fluctuations.

The emergency room will include various institutions, companies and agencies in the municipality, to remove any blockages that may occur and offer assistance during these days due to bad weather.

Nidal Al-Kadiki, the head of the media office in the Benghazi municipality, said that the room is ready to “respond to any urgent appeals from citizens”.

Libya’s western region suffered from heavy rain fall that caused flooding all across major cities like Tripoli and Zliten.
